What you don't know about the trip home!!!!!
well hello everyone so sorry i have not posted anything for a month. I have had an extremely hard time getting back on the horse again....i was gone long enough to make a habit of being gone and now i'm re training myself.
well to finish the vacation i have to tell you about our flight or should i say up to the flight.
14 people got up and packed our 15 passenger van with 34 pieces of luggage ( 28 carry ons and 6 check ins)
this trip we new we would be charged anywhere from 15-50 dollars for checkins so we had this bright idea that we would only bring carry ons WELL THAT SOUNDS GREAT UNTIL YOU GET TO THE AIRPORT AND REALIZE THAT BETWEEN MYSELF, NEAL AND THE KIDS WE HAD A TOTAL OF 10 BAGS THAT WE WERE CARRYING ON THE PLANE!!!
hello...what the crap was i thinking
lets just say we weren't the only ones covered in bags because the rest of my family had the same BRIGHT IDEA.
well we get to the airport and what do you know john leaves his pocket knife in his backpack and ashlie bought some MADE IN HAWAII lotion that is not cheap in her bag. so we are held up in security in liuhe and the flight attendant came and told us that we need to board the plane NOW!!! like 15min ago NOW!!!
so 28 bags and 14 people (mind you that 6 of them are under 12) running for our plane.
thats not even the best part.
we land in Honolulu and we have an hour grab a quick bit. somehow that hour seemed like 20 mins because i just finally sat down with my salad and soup and my mom comes running around the corner white as a ghost and says " I was in the gift shop and the lady on the speaker kept saying LYONS PARTY of 5, PRESTON PARTY of 5, NASH PARTY of 4) LAST CALL TO BOARD YOUR FLIGHT!!!
this is the same speaker that is heard throughout the airport.
so we leave our food and 14 people with 28 carry ons start running again
we get to the plane and we cant find my 15 year old brother jesse. so we are just staring at each other like what do we do now when around the corner come jess running franticly and butting up his pants...
he says" i just sat down to go to the bathroom and i heard our name over the speaker, but i had to go so i just sat there thinking we are all going to miss the flight".
if you could only have been there to witness such chaos
